My shop! Photos from Wong's Grill to RC Rens

The photo exhibition shows a completely new selection of images from the hidden sides of Copenhagen's cultural history. Experience the city's atmospheric shops, small local businesses and amusements accompanied by narratives in words and sound.

Copenhagen's architecture and business history, the population's changing way of life and consumption, forms the framework for everyday lifestyles and the human stories portrayed in the exhibition.

The material has been collected on location by photographer Ulf Svane and historian Mathias Kobberrød Rasmussen over the past three years. The places bears testimony to Copenhagen's development over the last more than 100 years, and reflect the city's architectural development and culture in a historical perspective, vividly narrated by the owners and employees of the places themselves.
