Pavilions

Copenhagen is the construction site of visions during World Capital of Architecture 2023

Some are built with recycled concrete, while others are made of rammed earth or straw. Some are open and constructed as artistic installations, while others resemble houses as we know them, but leave a significantly smaller CO2 footprint. During the year, a series of pavilions focused on the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals emerges along the waterfront in Copenhagen and at selected locations throughout the city. Together, they stand as signature projects for World Capital of Architecture and the World Congress of Architects in Copenhagen.
